It goes back to my issue of using MENU for something other than a menu 
of choices for the current item but we've discussed that ad nauseum now 
and my previous patch to change it didn't go through so I'm resigned to 
understanding that it will remain this way for the forseable future.  
Thanks for the info on PAGELEFT/RIGHT.  That does make sense.
