[mythtv] Widescreen support

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is working on widescreen support in MythTV?  
Currently it assumes the screen is 4:3 and scales the images accordingly, 
which results in a stretched out appearance on 16:9 screens.

I happy to add an option (actually I've already started) to tell MythTV if the 
screen aspect ratio is 4:3 or 16:9 and behave accordingly, I just wanted to 
make sure I wasn't duplicating someone else's work.
