[mythtv] Switching between multiple mythtv frontend configs on a single machine

If I want to switch between several mythtv frontend configurations for
testing with different themes/settings is it appropriate to simply
change my hostname before launching mythfrontend, or will this hose up
anything else that's going on in my system?  I guess it would come down
to where in the code the hostname is retrieved.
