[mythtv] ntpl versus linuxtrheads

Yeah I just saw that. Now to figure out where to get the pacthes for my 
2.4.24 kernel!

I believe for RedHat 9.0, RedHat back-ported NPTL to the 2.4 kernel; so, 
since a bunch of folks are running OK on RH9, I guess there are no 
(serious) issues with NPTL.
