[mythtv] Anyone working on direct MPEG2 encoding?

ffmeg's mpeg2 is considered to be cheap and cheerful, the emphasis is on 
speed.  mpeg2enc has an emphasis on broadcast quality, speed is not an 
issue. (These are generalisations from the developers).
