ATSC broadcasting is the future here in the U.S. and
is a key advantage of Myth (i.e. recording HDTV).  It
would be a real contribution if this glaring
incompatibility were fixed early rather than later. 
As for the remote control issue, there are often
buttonts that can be "re-tasked" to provide a "-" key.
