[mythtv] [PATCH] DisplayRes update

DVI just passes the raw video information and nothing about timings. It's up
to the display device to figure out those. At some point I may go with an
RGB->component adapter because of this.

To be honest I never tried his patch. Since I can't alter the timings I use
fullscreen for the video where overscan doesn't matter that much. I only
size it down for the GUI - where overscan does matter.

Really?  I didn't know that.  That would have been a rude shock if I ever
got a TV with HDMI/DVI and tried to use it.

Was GuiWidth/GuiHeight honored with Doug's version of "Seperate Video
Modes"?  It never occured to me that someone using this mode would not want
the GUI to be "full screen".
