Just mkreiserfs and mount as:
/dev/hda4               /mnt/store      reiserfs        noatime,notail  0 0


notail supposedly gives higher performance at a cost of less efficient
storage of small files.  But since MythTV just uses large files, so it
probably doesn't make much of a difference.
