[mythtv] Want to understand MythTV Framework (Backend)

Thanks for the response.

When I said "run from the console" I was meaning of course, "don't needing
any X software installed to compile/setup/run".

I'll collect more answers (if I get more), and rearrange the drawings a bit
to later post them here to serve as a reference (I hope) :)

It can run from the console (obviously, as people often start it as a 
service), but the setup application needs X.
