Ok, thanks. But I wouldn't mind taking a look at the problem you seem to 
be having if only I could understand your sentence :-)

It seems you're saying it doesn't display the preview image in your 
case? Are there any settings that might affect the generation of these 
preview images? Beause the only thing the patch does right now is 
default to the Preview Image code for the first half second after a 
selection change. It's almost as if you didn't have the "Show preview 
video" enabled for that fraction of a second. So if  you turn off that 
options in the TV settings and get preview images instead of the preview 
video the patch _should_ just work.

PS: For people who think that browsing through the list is still slow: 
you have to give MythTV the time the generate the preview image, but 
this happens only the first time you select a new recording. After that 
it should be fast again. Also, if you wait longer than the .5s the GUI 
will still pause while it sets up the preview video. I had been looking 
at putting the preview stuff in a thread somehow, but the current 
solution was way easier and I can live with the way it works now.
