I agree. Guess I ain't used to using a PVR either :) I feel the same way as you,
I like to channel surf and find something to look at.. Not used to having to
plan things before I watch it :)

I know someone else brought it up as well, but also related to this is the need
for "pseudo" channels or whatever you want to call them. If one has an analog
card and one DVB/HDTV card, I'd like to be able to specify certain channels
that's the same on both cards. If both of them are free, it chooses the one with
best quality.
This means that if you have two different types of cards, there might be
channels that's the same, but it doesn't have to be all of them.. This would
also mean that you should be able to mix different sources when channel surfing,
without the user actually noticing it (at least that's the way my digital box
works, they don't broadcast all channels digitally, but some are still analouge.
Took some time to figure out why some channels didn't have as good quality as
the rest).
