[mythtv] Splicing part of one recording into another

Will avidemux deal with the new Myth .nuv format?  (i.e., have they kept their 
Myth support up-to-date with the Myth .nuv format changes?)  The last time I 
tried avidemux was back when the patch for MPlayer also worked.
