[mythtv] make install error question

Hi All:

Any idea what the cause of this might be?

its from "make install" on mythtv after today's cvs build.

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/myth-cvs/mythtv/setup'
cp -f -p "setup.xml" "../../../../share/mythtv/"
strip "../../../../share/mythtv/setup.xml"
strip: ../../../../share/mythtv/setup.xml: File format not recognized
make[1]: *** [install_menu] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/myth-cvs/mythtv/setup'

Also -- I used to get a similar error with *.qm files.

Suggestions?
