[mythtv] trying to insert a manual record by putting data into the mysql data base

Hello,
 
I am tying to figure out how to setup a manual record by inserting the
data into the mysql database.  My first effort, inserting a line of data
in the record table failed.  Would someone please tell me what more I
need to do?
