Hi

I'm trying to set up a Nova-T ( with Grundig 29504-401 frontend )in the
UK with Kenneth's new DVB code, and cvs as of Sunday DVB driver. I had
the old cvs code working successfully for a long time ( without seeking
working though ), but after the new code went into CVS I decided to give
it a bash. With a little help from Ed Wildgoose, I now have some
channels again, but I have some problems that I thought someone might be
able to shed some light on.

1. The stream seems to take longer to start than in the old code,
several seconds of black screen before the picture starts.

2. When switching between channels on different muxes, I get glitchy
video and audio, with flash frames and even the OSD glitching. This
sometimes used to happen in recordings with the old code, but not in
livetv. If I switch between channels again, it is sometimes possible to
stop this.

3. I get some strange log messages when changing channels :

The NO LOCK messages are particularly strange,as it is definitely tuning
the channel.

Are these likely to be a problem with configuration or code ?

Here's a dump of my dvb_channels

When using Kenneth's channel editor, I also find that the pid
identifiers are being written into the database as upper case, where
they need to be lower case. Can anyone else confirm this happens for
them, and if this is the wrong behaviour ? I've found the section in
channeleditor.cpp which defines this, so a change should be easy.

Anyway I hope someone can provide some information. Cheers

Matt
