| You think that this method will fix it without looking at the code.
| Your suggestion is fundamentally incompatible with the way that the |
| existing code works. It will not.

Now, I might be being an idiot (heck, it sure as hell wouldn't be the
first time), but maybe my second suggestion (which was quite blithely
ignored) would work then?

And I quote myself here:
- -----
Heck, even easier: Write the current value to the database every time
the next button is pressed.

Oh, and don't forget to do it when the back button is pressed, too.
- -----

Now, I'm not at home, and can't test my theory (or even spend time
checking out that piece of code), but from the sounds of it, the code
writes out the updates whenever the spin control signals a change. In
that case, it should be very possible to write out these updates at the
press of the next button (i.e.: At the top of the event function, before
destroying any on-screen widgets, grab the values which are stored in
the text boxes, and write them out to the database).

Again, I might be an absolute and utter moron who has less clue than
about this than an ambulance chasing lawyer does about ethical behavior,
but maybe you could explain why this suggestion was just completely
ignored, rather than the very terse explanations of "Your suggestion
won't work"?
