There were actually a couple of minor things broken, but I fixed em =)  It 
would think that the videodevice in Channel was always closed after the 
inital open, and then couldn't reopen it (only with v4l-1, and the result was 
you couldn't change channels in live tv), and setting the recording and 
encoding vars to true at the very beginning of the ::StartRecording stuff 
would potentially cause a race condition, so I moved that back to where it 
belonged.  Also, if you could check to make sure I didn't break anything 
while I was merging, I'd appreciate that.
