What (if any) work has been done to allow remote control of mythmusic? I'm
thinking of something like the FIFO support that xmms has allowing easy
control of mythmusic from another program. You could do something like

echo n >> /tmp/mythmusic.fifo

to skip to the next track.

Another question.

How hard would it be to add another source for playlists? In other words,
I would want to connect to another machine, send a request, and it returns a
playlist. I could then request that that machine stream me tracks from that
playlist. I'm heading toward rendezvous here.

I'm willing to try and code these up, I'm just pinging here to see if any
work has been done and maybe receive pointers at where to start.
