[mythtv] Slave backend using different encodings specs

I was thinking about building a slave backend, but was wondering if that
backend could use a different encoding standard for live TV.  I have a
slower machine that I would like to use with a g200 card.  On my main
backend, I use Mpeg4, but I'd like to use mjpeg on the slave backend.
Is this possible?
