[mythtv] Problems with mythvideo lirc input focus

Hi,

I've noticed that lirc focus is lost after viewing a video with MPlayer
in mythvideo. i.e.

1. watch some video,
2. press back up (escape) on my IR remote.
3. mplayer stops and focus is now lost.

Strangely, the keyboard still has focus and after pressing escape my
remote is functional again.

My desktop setup is 

RH9, Gnome, metacity.

I have no other problems with IR remote focus in any of the other myth
modules. Could this be mythvideo not grabbing the focus after mplayer
has finished ?
