[mythtv] frontend connection error

Thanks Matt, I'll give that a try.

I had changed mysql.txt in /usr/local/share/mythtv on the frontend to
point to 192.168.1.103 but I then had to recompile/install mythfrontend to
put that IP address in there, so the mysql.txt must have been reset to
localhost. I will update both the frontend and backend mysql.txt to point
to 192.168.1.103 even though that is the localhost for the backend.

Not at home right now, but can't wait to get there to try it out.
thanks
gf

Perhaps you have the mysql configuration on the backend pointing to
'localhost'? I believe these settings are passed to the frontend, so they
would have to be valid in both contexts.
