Just my two cents here, but doesn't it make better sense to leave the volume
control to the tv/receiver?

I just got MythTV all setup and it works beautifully, even using the cvs
version.  It is quite stable, I assume it is close to the final release.

On to my point, has anyone considered adding volume control key bindings
with OSD support?  It would be real nice to get the cool (themeable) OSD
volume slided.  I know with the remote I could always just make the up and
down volumes run a command line to change volume.  I just think it would be
the icing on the cake to intigrate it with a nice look.
