I'm having very similar problems and just wondered if there was a
solution.  I'm using 0.7, and "Watch Live TV" gives me a blue screen.
The card (WinTV Go) seems to work just fine in xawtv.  I'm using XFree86
4.2.0 (fairly standard installation of Redhat 7.3).
