[mythtv] Issues with Actisys 200L shooting

I know this isn't the right place to ask this, but everyone here is very
helpful...

I have been using my Actisys 200L under winblows for a while; it learns
and shoots fine.

I have setup linux rh8 and lirc 0.6.6 on that machine as my backend.
I can learn and test the IR fine using irw.  But I can't make it shoot
any tv,vcr,cable box I have.  I haven't seen it send successfully 1
command from linux.

But I rebooted into winblows and everything is still fine there.

Anybody have any ideas why shooting wouldn't work but receiving would?

I've also posted to the lirc list but silence so far...
