[mythtv] mythbackend w/out X

Hi-

I'd like to be able to start up mythbackend in an rc.d/init.d script (I 
already have one written), but it seems to require X (this is from CVS, 
updated yesterday). Is their anyway to change this (ie comment out the code 
that requires X in the backend only), or would this screw up the whole 
program? Is this a planned feature for client-server separation?

This could be extremely useful, as I find that mythbackend dies whenever I 
log out while using gdm2 (x restarts or something like that).
