[mythtv] mythtv still locks up :(

Everybody says that the reason my mythtv restarts my computer or just 
locks up is because of the sound drivers :(

but I have no idea how to fix them, and get them to work... apparently 
running the newest alsa drivers and everything... they are working as far 
as i can tell (using headphones and stuff)

I could use the help, if you can loginto the machine and take a look I can 
give you root access and stuff too..

I have pretty much given up.. last 2weeks been messing around with it.. :(
