[mythtv] Is MythTV 0.7 orphaned?

A couple days back on the users list I saw a note from someone with RH 7.3, Myth
0.7 and the latest XMLTV (0.5.8) concerning segmentation faults after
mythfilldatabase retrieves tomorrow's schedule. I'm seeing this as well. Seems
that I remember the fix is to move to the CVS version of Myth. Does this mean
that 0.7 is essentially orphaned? Or did I miss some other fix for this?
