First, my chanids (set manually in SQL) start at 1 (4, actually, because
I chose so to match my TV), so it's definitely possible. Only the
automatically added ones start at 1000.
Second, I don't think it's a good idea to use the DB id (used to link
tables together) for the presets (the stuff you key in the remote) -
what, for example, if you change the presets? Does the program table
then change as well? The chanid should be internal only and never shown
to the user. Use another colum for the presets, as I suggested in my
last post in this thread.
