The complete output is:
> mythtv
 Probe:
 channel set: Invalid argument
 Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
 VIDOCGMBUF:: Invalid argument
 VIDIOCSAUDIO: Invalid argument

(and make that "doesn't seem to cause any harm").

Ditto on RH7.3, latest CVS (11Oct02).
xawtv is fine here too.
Using ATI Rage 128 Pro, with drm-kernel and km code from gatos.
I'd love to 'hear' the answer.

-------
BTW: I noticed some possible oversights:
1) after 'make install', in /usr/local/lib, I had to 'ln -s
libmyth.so.0.6.0 libmyth.so.0' to run apps.
2) on 'make install' I get 'strip: "/usr/local/share/mythtv/mythtv/themes/:
is a directory".
make[1]: *** [install_themes] *** Error 1
Confusing but doesn't seem to cause no harm.

i still get a lot of DateManip errors when running xmltv, but it seems to
have populated my guide properly because mythepg is working fine.

however, when i try to run mythtv i get the following output, and then
nothing.

Changing from None to WatchingLiveTV
VIDOCGMBUF:: Invalid argument
VIDIOCSAUDIO: Invalid argument

xawtv works fine.
any help appreciated
running rh8.0
