Better support for us Europeans is one of my goals too, but since I am in 
Sweden and have a working xmltv grabber, all I have done is improve the 
database updating for small static channel setups. You can run your 
mythfilldatabase cron job with the --update flag to avoid destroying your 
manually crafted channel data.

I'm a little busy with getting VCD exporting finished, but once thats done 
perhaps a group of us Euro's should start to look at some serious support for 
at least getting the database setup for channels a bit simpler. Perhaps even 
full EPG support for those missing an xmltv grabber.
