[mythtv] Opinions on mini-itx

Hi all,
I'm planning to put togethor a media box using MythTV (which rocks!), 
and I;m considring what hardware to use.  I really like the idea of 
using a VIA C3-E 800MHz but I hear that the floating point performance 
on these boards isn't hot.  Does anybody actually have experience using 
one of these boards with MythTV ?
