[mythtv] Will a Linux Installation survive migration to another PC?

Its Linux Mandrake 9 .  I have done no kernel recompile.  It is the
built in kernel.  It should come with all the modules right?  Therefore
when I boot it on the new PC, the kernel should magically configure
itself?
