Hmm, nice, but for an IRC (or another IM) discussion, people need to be
online, which means that some people must be awake at the same time, which
means that all discussion are held between people of the same continent
(mostly).

IRC-log mailings?

Anyways, never seen a decent IRC/chat discussion... But you could show me
one :-)
