[mythtv] external cable box script.

Hi Folks,

I am trying to find a script to control the AT&T cable boxes I.E. just to
change the channel. On the myth website there is a perl script for just
sony boxes and I have been searching on google but have had no sucess so
far. Has anyone managed to get this working ? Could you perhaps point me
at where there is a script to do this ? I would even settle for a manual
page detailing how to communicate with the box through it's serial
connection.

I will continue looking but I felt this is something that someone else may
have gone through and would be able to point me in the right direction.
