[mythtv] voodoo 3500 (very newbie)

I see that v4l (supposedly) supports the 3dfx 3500 TV card,
but I can't find any way to load this card in mythtv.  Am
I this dense or what am I missing?

I can make the kernel, compile v4l support in, i2c support
in, but what modules do I have to modprobe/insmod?  I'm 
just lost here.
