 Minor observation.  I just rescanned my single-transmitter UK Freeview
 DVB-T-only system to see if anything had changed.  It went very smoothly,
 (not) finding 1 off-air channel, but reported 7 transports while listing
 only 6 distinct frequencies.  On repeat, it found no changed channels and
 6 transports.
