 I can confirm that I'm getting the same error under Wayland/Fedora 31
 final with the following packages installed:

 qt5-qtwayland-5.12.5-2.fc31.x86_64
 mutter-3.34.1-4.fc31.x86_64
 weston-7.0.0-2.fc31.x86_64
 }}}

 MythTV works fine under Xorg, however.
