 Here's a much better example. Again, in xine (Gentoo media-libs/xine-
 lib-1.2.9-r2 and media-video/ffmpeg-3.4.5) this uses vdpau just fine, but
 in mythtv falls back to software from those avcodec_send_packet errors:

 Also note that just as a test, I had recompiled mythtv with
 SEQ_PKT_ERR_MAX increased from 10 to 500 and this still occurs, which
 tells me it's clearly failing every time.
