Comment (by Klaas de Waal):

 The problem can be reproduced with a signal from Astra 1 satellite, "GFD
 Service", with playback started from the guide. No channel up/down needed.

 The sequence, in mythfrontend:
 - Select Program Guide
 - Select program "GFD Service"
 - Select "Watch this channel"

 Then on the console after a short while the same messages appear:
