 In MythTV 29 there is a new feature in mythtv-setup, general, Host Address
 Backend Setup, called "listen on all IP addresses". Have you tried that?
 That causes it to only listen on the generic ip addresses 0.0.0.0 and
 ![0:0]. That should be the preferred setup option in future.

 If that does not work, please paste here the backend log where it lists
 the ip addresses and ports being listened on.
