 As per subject line.

 I have tried SEVERAL listed ways to fix this, but:

 1). there is no reason for this to EVER happen on an install - this
 problem has been reported for YEARS.
 2). NONE of the reported ways t fix this have worked.
 3). why is this STILL a problem???

 Since mythtv DOES NOT WORK without this being fixed, it is ANYTHING but
 MINOR.
