 I have left my backend running for a couple of days with my proposed fix
 [https://code.mythtv.org/trac/attachment/ticket/11739/eit_ett_staleness_fix_20151120.patch
 eit_ett_staleness_fix_20151120.patch]. EIT continues to function
 correctly, and the mismatched description problem appears resolved. You
 can can compare before and after for the same channel in these two
 screenshots:

 I believe this patch is low risk and well-targeted to this bug. Any
 thoughts on committing it?
