 you need to upgrade to the mythtv development version in order for the
 extra line to work:

 sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mythbuntu/0.28
 }}}

 From your log it also seems like another instance of the backend is
 running already that you need to stop.

 With the added line both recording and livetv is working for me. However,
 it is a very slow process to retrieve the program/service_id information
 from the vlc stream information. Is there a better way?

 Also, the stream includes both EPG and teletext information. Is there any
 chance to have it evaluated by mythtv?
