 After installing mythtv 0.27.x (and mythbuntu 14.0.1) the kernel driver
 for my hauppauge 950Q USB HDTV stick could not find the following firmware
 file: dvb-fe-xc5000c-4.1.30.7.fw and mythtv backend failed to find tv
 channels.

 I found the required file at: http://www.kernellabs.com/firmware/xc5000
 /dvb-fe-xc5000c-4.1.30.7.fw

 and copied it to /lib/firmware and the driver loaded and all worked.
 Shouldn't it be in the distro?
