 The OPs attached recording plays in mythtv when frontend is started with
 "-O FFMPEGTS=1" override.
 It appears that without the override the stream codec probing fails.
 Possibly because is does not probe far/long enough.

 The alternative code path (with override) uses different libav* function.

 Assuming you are using DVB.. Do you have the backend recording setup
 "DVBWaitForSeqStart" set ?
 This stops your recordings having unusable junk at start.
