 Agreed, if we can confirm this is the issue, it is definitely a Ceton
 issue, and not a MythTV issue.

 Right now I know that running the Ceton Utility DEFINITELY changes the
 tuning (and will thus interrupt anything the tuner is used for) and as I
 recall (but can not check as I removed it) the GUI warns you against this.

 What is less clear is whether the drivers do something in the background
 or play with Windows Media Center, and it tries to steal some of the
 tuners in the background without telling the user.

 If uninstalling the software works for the other Matt as well, then maybe
 this is something that should be reported to Ceton.

 I am just hesitant to come to that conclusion and close this ticket quite
 yet, as I have not had enough time to do conclusive testing that my
 problem is - in fact - solved.
