 sorry, it seems my problem is related to conflicting access: i have eyetv,
 and i can't figure out how to remove the hdhrun from its clutches:-\
 rerunning setup w/the hdhrs disconnected didn't do it, so i'll just have
 to abandon eyetv...as soon as i can get mythtv built on my snowleop
