 I've had this problem with in-progress recordings in 0.26 and 0.27 with a
 local frontend with both IVTV (PVR-250) and HDHomeRun recordings, though I
 hadn't noticed the specific timing on when the hang occurs.  Sometimes,
 instead of completely dropping out of the frontend after 30-40 seconds of
 hanging, it will drop us back to the menu and we will restart the
 recording.  This can occur multiple times on a single recording.
