 Single program is not obviously the case: any other "several recordings"
 option (like record always in this channel) would render repeats
 unavailable.

 What do you mean by "guide data not provide the needed information to
 detect repeats"? In the past, I only ticked the "ignore duplicates" to
 schedule recordings when no subtitle was available and a series name
 (title) was always the same.

 If you need some more info (like debugging logs) I will gladly provide
 some as long as you point me to the specific logs.
