 There is no crash of the backend rather a loss of connection from the FE
 to the BE.  HD playback at 720 or 1080 is fine with crystaldhd decoder,
 but when I change channels that's when the connection is lost between the
 two.

 Even if I disable crystalhd and use just use 'Standard' decoder with xv-
 bit player I still have same issues when changing channels.

 On the same FE and BE if I revert back to 0.24/fixes channel changing is
 no problem.
